  • The library will be closed during the first 6 day cycle as we complete the adjustments made during the installation of the Smart Board, prepare the library database and complete STAR testing with 3-6th grade.
  • 3rd – 6th grade, please note your STAR testing time.  STAR testing will take place on Thursday, Aug. 14th and Friday, Aug. 15.

Welcome Back, Teachers and Staff!

August 3rd, 2008 | Staff information | No comments

Welcome to the new Washington School Library Blog!  This site has information for the learning community at Washington Elementary School. Watch us grow!

Please check the notes below for start-up information.

SCHEDULE: Homeroom teachers, please check your email or your mailbox for a form to use to request library times for the year. Please think about more than one time that you might be able to come to the library. Most classes will be held in the morning so that the learning area of the library can be scheduled for classroom projects.  I will need to have all forms in before I can schedule for the year. Please turn in your forms (or send an email) by Tuesday afternoon.

STAR TESTING: Star testing for 3rd – 6th graders will be held on Thursday, August 14 and Friday August 15. Please watch your email for the schedule and further notes on the STAR READING TEST.

FIRST LIBRARY CLASSES: Library classes will not be held during the first week of school. Classes will begin on Tuesday, August 12 (Day 1).
